Job summary

Animal Outpatient Specialty Network is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant with shared Client Service responsibilities to join our team. The role supports client communication, appointment management, and collaboration with doctors during exams and procedures.

Ideal candidates will have veterinary hospital experience, a strong commitment to client service, and the ability to assist with clinical tasks such as restraining patients and preparing discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a public environment (retail/restaurant/service) suggested.
• Veterinary hospital experience a plus.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients; manage appointments.
• Prepare clients for exam room consultations.
• Assist doctors during examinations and surgeries as needed.
• Review treatment plans with clients; process invoices and collect payments.
• Maintain a clean, organized hospital environment including kennels and treatment areas.
