Job summary

Stonyridge Veterinary Service in Troy, OH seeks a Veterinary Client Service Representative to join a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner team. The role focuses on accurate client interactions, appointment scheduling, fee explanations, and product recommendations in a busy veterinary setting.

You will assist clients with pets, manage records, and help educate on pet care while contributing to a compassionate, service‑oriented hospital culture.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Experience in veterinary medicine, animal care, or human medical background is highly preferred.
• Has a flexible schedule and ability to multi-task.
• Must enjoy working with people and animals.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.

Our team is looking for a veterinary client service representative with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy. We are looking for a dynamic, outgoing person, with great customer service skills, who enjoys interacting with people and their pets!

Job duties include

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $16-18/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
