Job summary
Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner in Snohomish, WA, is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative. This full-time role features a 3-day work week with shifts Thursday through Saturday, 9 a.m.–10 p.m., and a focus on compassionate client service for pets and their families.
The ideal candidate has veterinary front-desk experience, strong communication, and a team-oriented mindset, with priorities on scheduling flexibility and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Experience as a receptionist is required.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail is essential.
- Able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Professional phone etiquette required.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and manage scheduling and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate client records and appointments.
- Assist with basic front-desk duties and cash handling as needed.

- Accurate accounting skills are a must.
- Strong problem-solving abilities (judgment, logic, creativity, conflict resolution).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Veterinary Medication Clerk's license, overseen by the WA state Department of Health.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $19-23/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
