Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative/Receptionist to manage front-desk tasks, schedule appointments, process payments, and deliver outstanding client experiences. This full-time role includes day and overnight shifts to support a busy veterinary clinic.

You will handle phones, patient check-ins/outs, and use practice management software while maintaining a compassionate, organized approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Recent experience as veterinary receptionist or medical office receptionist.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience answering multi-line phones.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with standard office equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet clients and patients.
• Accurately enter client information, collect payments, and print receipts; balance cash box at end of shift.
• Provide consistently excellent customer service in a positive manner.
• Assist the team with additional tasks as needed.

About You

You are a compassionate and organized Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)/Veterinary Receptionist with strong customer service, front desk, and client communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary clinic or animal hospital. You're comfortable managing appointment scheduling, multi-line phones, check in/check out, payment processing, and practice management software while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Your Experience & Skills

• Recent experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office receptionist
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Is self-motivated and able to work independently
• Is a great team player
• Has experience with answering multi-phone lines
• Has basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Is familiar with standard office equipment
• Can problem-solve
• Weekend and holiday availability is required
