Job summary

Carlson Animal Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is seeking a friendly and organized Client Service Representative to join our Oak Park team. You will be the first and last point of contact for clients, supporting the veterinary team and delivering exceptional client service.

The role is part-time, with a rotating schedule including weekends, and involves greeting clients, scheduling, records management, payments, and education on preventive care and products.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Veterinary hospital experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computers and practice management software.
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with professionalism and compassion.
• Answer phones, emails, and client inquiries.
• Schedule and confirm appointments and surgeries.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Process payments and review invoices with clients.
• Assist with prescription and food order requests.
• Educate clients on preventive care, hospital services, and pet wellness products.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care.

Part-Time: Tuesday, Wednesday AM, Thursday PM, Friday, rotating Saturdays (7:30 AM to 1:00 PM), additional hours available to cover vacations and team absences

Compensation
