Job summary

Timberline Veterinary Emergency and Specialty (TVES) in North Seattle seeks an Outpatient Client Liaison to join our collaborative, 24/7 emergency and specialty team. You’ll be the main contact for outpatient clients and referring practices, guiding care and ensuring smooth communication across services.

Candidates should have prior phone/reception experience, at least three years in emergency veterinary medicine, superb communication, and strong organization.

• Prior phone or reception experience.
• Three years previous experience in emergency veterinary medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable interacting with clients and creating a positive customer experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to pass the Washington Veterinary Medical Clerk license within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer and scheduling software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client communications, outpatient visits, follow-up care, prescriptions, and evening discharges.
• Support client and patient flow by monitoring exam rooms and patient comfort during extended waits.
• Assist with euthanasia coordination and coordination with referral partners (obtaining records).
• Review client invoices for accurate charge capture and educate clients on treatment plans.
• Contribute to efficient hospital operations and continuity of care.
