Horton Animal Hospital Discovery, part of Vetcor, seeks an experienced Client Care Specialist to join our team. You’ll greet clients, schedule appointments, handle payments, and support hospitalized patients with compassion and professionalism.

The role requires 1–2 years in a small animal practice or kennel setting, a customer-service focus, and flexibility to work 3x12-hour shifts with occasional Saturdays. Full benefits included.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1–2 years in a small animal practice or kennel setting (required).
• Strong communication and client service skills, with tact for sensitive conversations.
• Ability to multitask in a busy hospital environment.
• Professional, friendly and hospitable approach with clients and patients.

Aufgaben

• Answer a multi-line phone system with warmth and professionalism.
• Greet clients and patients as they arrive and leave the hospital.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for general and emergency services.
• Handle cash and payment transactions, including CareCredit, Scratchpay loans, and insurance claim forms.
• Place outbound follow-up calls to clients and reach out to prospective clients.
• Complete accurate medical documentation and billing.
• Provide compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets.
• Help keep the hospital and our patients clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
• Treat every animal humanely and with compassion, regardless of the situation.
• Support the hospital’s ethical principles and standards of practice in all you do.
