Horton Animal Hospital Discovery is seeking an Experienced Client Care Specialist to join our team in Missouri. This full-time role offers a 3 x 12-hour shift schedule with occasional Saturdays, and a compensation package based on experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a small animal practice or kennel setting.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Professional, friendly, hospitable approach with clients and patients.
• Ability to multitask in a busy hospital.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Be the welcoming voice on the phone and the friendly face at the front desk.
• Help care for patients behind the scenes.
• Answer a multi-line phone system with warmth and professionalism.
• Greet clients and patients as they arrive and leave the hospital.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for general and emergency services.
• Handle cash and payment transactions, including CareCredit and insurance forms.
• Complete accurate medical documentation and billing.
• Provide compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets.
• Keep the hospital and patients clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
