As the primary contact at our clinic, you will warmly greet clients, answer a multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, and process payments while keeping accurate client and pet records. We maintain a supportive, no-weekends, no late-evening schedule.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or educational equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
• Professional and friendly communication.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Experience with veterinary EMR (Avimark, Cornerstone) preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• No weekends, late evenings or emergency after-hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage appointment scheduling, client education, and lobby triage to keep a productive schedule.
• Operate a multi-line telephone system and route calls to staff.
• Answer calls, place callers on hold, transfer calls, and page staff as needed.
• Obtain and route messages for veterinarians and staff.
• Provide empathetic, courteous service and stay calm in emergencies.
• Process payments and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Maintain accurate client and pet records and support administrative tasks.
• Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisors.
