The role emphasizes excellent client service, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a busy veterinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required; preference for reading, writing, and speaking Spanish.
• Experience in customer service, cashier work, and high-paced environment is preferred.
• Position requires standing for long periods and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Compassionate, calm, and team-oriented attitude with a genuine interest in helping people and animals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism while maintaining a clean, organized reception area.
• Answer incoming calls, texts, faxes, and emails; respond to questions and direct concerns to the veterinary team.
• Schedule appointments efficiently to support daily workflow and the team needs.
• Check clients in and out, process payments, and assist with administrative tasks.
• Collect and update customer and patient information for accurate communication and records.
• Provide compassionate, discreet emotional support to clients during stressful situations.
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians, assistants, and team members to support a positive client experience.
• Help clients navigate visits by providing clear information and directing questions to the right team member.
