Job summary

Town and Country Veterinary Associates in Vernon, CT is seeking a Client Service Representative to provide an exceptional client experience. The CSR will manage reception, scheduling, record maintenance, and clerical tasks while upholding veterinary record requirements and patient care standards.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, processing payments, updating files, handling reminders, and supporting daily clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Weekend work availability as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Client satisfaction references preferred.
• OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Leads practice opening and closing procedures per Manager instructions.
• Maintains clean, presentable public areas including front desk and waiting room.
• Processes cash, checks, card payments, and credit accounts.
• Schedules appointments and manages clinic workflow.
• Updates client/patient files and sends client correspondence.
• Reminders for clients and timely follow-ups from a callback list.
• Performs daily business posting and system backups.
• Greets clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor.
• Answers incoming calls with proper etiquette.
• Presents medications and take-home items to clients.
• Handles emergencies per clinic policies and procedures.
• Addresses client concerns to ensure satisfaction.
