Job summary

Strong communication and multitasking skills are required. Weekend/evening shifts may be needed, with training provided to new staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• At least 1 year related experience with customer service preferred.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the treatment room and equipment for examinations and procedures.
• Educate clients on preventive care and wellness plans.
• Restrain pets during exams and procedures as needed.
• Prepare in-house lab tests per state rules.
• Monitor comfort of hospitalized pets and maintain cleanliness.
• Clean the surgical suite and instruments.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
