VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona in Mesa, AZ is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our AAHA-accredited 18-doctor practice. This full-time role requires weekend availability and offers exposure to high-volume surgery in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has prior surgery experience and veterinary technician background, strong customer service, and excellent communication skills.

VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to work at our well-established, AAHA-accredited, 18-doctor practice in Mesa, Arizona.

Location: 1648 N Country Club Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201 Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Thursday 8 am-6 pm (Department will open on weekends in 2027)

We are looking for qualified, experienced Veterinary Assistant to share in a growing, exciting, fast-paced environment in our surgical deptment. The candidate MUST be able to work weekends. Previous surgery experience HIGHLY preferred. Previous veterinary technician experience is a MUST. Most importantly, must be client-oriented and have high customer service skills. We are a 24-hour emergency/specialty practice looking for Technicians with positive personalities, whose attributes reflect attention-to-detail, self-motivation, compassion, and reliability.
