Shift Lead Overview

The Shift Lead performs the duties of a Certified Safety Counselor (CSC) and/or veterinary assistant/technician, and provides continuity and operational support across all shifts. The role ensures leadership is present on site to support associates and clients and guides paraprofessional staff while helping hospital leadership maximize productivity and profitability.

The Shift Lead works closely with the Practice Manager and/or Chief of Staff to maintain effective communication with clients, associates, Field Leadership, Central Team Support, and PetSmart. Pay range: $18.50 – $23.64 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and location or applicable minimum wage laws.
