Archdale Animal Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our collaborative veterinary team in Archdale, North Carolina. You will care for patients, assist doctors, handle exams, and communicate with clients in a fast-paced hospital.

We seek dependable veterinary professionals with hands-on skills in patient care, strong teamwork, and attention to detail. RVT credential is preferred; experience in a veterinary setting is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous veterinary hospital or animal care experience required.
• RVT credential preferred; VTNE eligibility a plus.
• Strong animal handling, restraint, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical spaces.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
• Provide nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean hospital environment.
