Job summary

VCA Parkwood Animal Hospital in Woodland Hills, CA is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Assistant to support Technician and Doctor teams, delivering compassionate care and a positive client experience.

Responsibilities include physical exams support, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, radiology, lab work, venipuncture, pharmacy tasks and hospitalized animal care. Salary is $25/hour, with benefits like medical, dental, vision, paid vacation/sick days, 401(k) and pet discounts.

Qualifications

• Credentials include CVT, RVT, or LVT.
• Experience assisting veterinary teams and clients is preferred.
• Good multitasking and compassionate patient care are essential.

Schedule: Part-Time. Hospital is open Monday through Saturday, closed Sunday

Salary: $ 25 / hour, dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule, and additional responsibilities.
