VCA Olympiad in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant. The position offers a full-time schedule and an hourly salary starting at $19 to $26 per hour, with responsibilities spanning medical records, client communication, and surgical prep.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining medical records, obtaining patient histories + TPRs
• Client communication, Presentation of treatment plans
• Patient restraint, ear cleanings, nail trims, and ear cytology
• Preparing the surgical suite and the surgical patients
• Filling prescriptions
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
• Cross-training to help at the front desk when needed
