VCA Family & Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center, a 24 hour hybrid hospital in Hawai‘i, has an opening for a Veterinary Assistant with our Overnight Team. Location: Pearl City, HI, 98-1254 Kaʻahumanu St. This full-time overnight role offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Compensation: $ 24 - $ 35 / hour

Location : 98-1254 Kaʻahumanu St, Pearl City, HI 96782

Schedule : FT Overnights

• IV catheter placement and venipuncture


• Anesthesia monitoring and recover


• Set up and assist with procedures


• Appointment management: obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoice and patient discharge, prepare and dispense prescriptions, and educate clients.

Physical Requirements: Dependable attendance is required. Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication. Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must be willing to work long or irregular hours under pressure conditions. This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a minimum 8-10 hour day.
