BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an exceptional Neurology Veterinary Assistant.

We strive to provide state‑of‑the‑art services to our patients and clients. We are very proactive in supporting our technician team to advance their careers and have many specialized technicians in Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, and Emergency/Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.
• Discharge, perform call‑backs, and refill medications.
• Client education, gather histories, and communicate that information to the clinician.
• Perform physical exams and accurately record vital signs, including heart rate, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate, and effort.
• Understand normal vital parameters.
• Perform IVC placement and venipuncture.
• Set up intravenous fluids.
• Operate all brands of intravenous fluid pumps and troubleshoot errors.
• Restrain patients during consults and diagnostics.
