Southern Colorado Veterinary Internal Medicine and Oncology (SCVIM) in Colorado Springs is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support Internal Medicine, Oncology and ICU teams in a fast-paced specialty setting.

This role involves assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, and helping maintain efficient hospital flow across multiple departments, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and compassionate client service.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of veterinary experience required.
• Fluent English speaking and reading required; multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Mansioni

• Provide compassionate patient care and ensure comfort, cleanliness, and safety for hospitalized patients.
• Monitor patients and alert staff to changes in condition.
• Assist with exams, diagnostics, and procedures; restraint as needed.
• Administer medications under supervision and assist with anesthesia monitoring.
• Support radiographs, CT scans, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain treatment areas, exam rooms, and surgical packs; process and organize records.
