Your NAVTA-certified training will guide daily duties, with a focus on efficient client and patient flow. The role emphasizes collaboration with doctors and staff, education of clients on preventive care, and contributing to a positive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program certificate or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, efficient service to clients and pets.
• Follow NAVTA guidelines in daily duties as a veterinary assistant.
• Help maintain patient flow throughout the hospital.
• Communicate with veterinarians, vet techs and team members.
• Assist with procedures that do not require vet/tech involvement.
• Maintain clean, safe treatment areas and exam rooms.
