Qualifications

• Must have NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program knowledge or equivalent.
• Must be able to perform all required NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain the flow of patients.
• Communicate with veterinarians and vet techs.
• Carry out procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Adhere to hospital standards for pet safety and cleanliness.
• Educate clients about preventive care and wellness plans.
• Mentor other hospital team members.
