Qualifications

• At least one year of Veterinary Assistant or veterinary clinic experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Safely restrain animals for examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites.
• Monitor hospitalized patients.
• Assist with basic patient care.
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples as directed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment notes.
• Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with pet owners.
• Assist with client education.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinic environment.
• Support teammates as patient-care needs change during the day.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative hospital environment.
