Qualifications

• Certificate of completion from NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure safety of pets, clients and associates and continuity of quality veterinary care.
• Maintain flow of patients and communicate with the veterinarian and vet techs.
• Educate clients about preventive care and Optimum Wellness Plans.
• Mentor other members of the hospital team.
