Job summary
ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for a full-time role in Kentucky, with varied hours including some Saturdays. The position involves supporting veterinarians in daily clinic operations, client communication, and basic pharmacy tasks.

Qualifications
- Flexible schedule with availability
- Prefer prior veterinary experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable with physical tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Experience with basic pet care and client communication
Responsibilities
- Obtain accurate patient history
- Assist doctor during exams
- Aid in animal restraint
- Educate clients on basic pet care
- Run lab tests as directed
- Help with radiographs
- Invoice procedures and appointments
- Fill/re-fill patient prescriptions
- Clean exam rooms after each exam
- Maintain laundry flow and pharmacy area
- Present treatment plans to clients (estimates)
- Check in and put away inventory orders
