Animal Care Center Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to support clients and patients across hospital care. The role offers a fast-paced environment with a versatile daily routine, focusing on patient care, client service, and procedures.

You will assist veterinarians, handle and restrain animals safely, prepare treatment areas, and maintain medical records while educating clients about care plans and discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel, or related role preferred.
• Safe handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes.
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments and outpatient procedures.
• Experience collecting histories and recording weights/vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments and procedures.
• Prepare patients, equipment and treatment areas for appointments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Discuss treatment plans, medications and discharge instructions with clients.
• Contribute to positive client relationships through education and service.
