Job summary

Animal Care Center Veterinary Clinic in Salem, OR is growing and seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to support clients and patients across hospital care.

You will assist veterinarians during exams and procedures, handle patients safely, prep rooms and equipment, maintain medical records, discuss treatment plans with clients, and contribute to a supportive team in a fast-paced setting. Full-time, 4/10 schedule, $21–$24/hr plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel, or related role preferred
• Safe animal handling and restraint for dogs and cats of varying sizes
• Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and patient care principles
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures

Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures

Schedule And Compensation

• Compensation: $21 - $24 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday through Friday. No Weekends!
