Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in veterinary assistant or related role.
• Proficiency in safe animal handling and restraint for dogs and cats of varying sizes.
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments, surgeries, and dentistry.
• Experience collecting patient histories, weights, and vital signs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry.
• Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for appointments and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with patient recovery as directed by the team.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Build positive client relationships through education and attentive service.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces.
