Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary hospital or similar setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of basic animal care and medical terminology.
• Ability to handle and restrain animals safely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist in appointments with doctors.
• Take history from clients and record observations in medical records.
• Educate clients on preventive care and follow-up.
• Communicate client or patient concerns to staff.
• Collect blood samples and assist in in-house labs; relay results to owners.
