Job summary

VCALewiston Animal Hospital in Lewiston, ID is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our medical team as a full-time member. The role supports a busy veterinary practice with a commitment to progressive medicine and compassionate care.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career development within the VCA network. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8am–5pm, with competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT) required or preferred.
• Experience supporting veterinarians and technicians in a clinical setting.
• Ability to perform technical procedures with care and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical prep and recovery.
• Perform dentistry, radiology, lab work and phlebotomy tasks.

VCALewiston Animal Hospital is seeking a talented Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our medical team full time.

We have been serving the community for over 80 years and 30 yrs in our current location. We are centrally located, with a variety of amazing restaurants, and just a short drive to ocean beaches, numerous state parks, and hiking trails! .Our team has a shared devotion toprovidingprogressive medicine with compassion as a driving force and we are eager to welcome a like-minded individual!
