Job summary

Veritas Veterinary Partners in the Las Vegas area is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support our hospital team. You will assist DVMs and LVT, monitor patient vital signs, document care, and provide anesthesia monitoring as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years as a Veterinary Assistant, strong communication, reliability, and a desire to learn. We offer a hybrid schedule, competitive hourly pay, and benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Veterinary Assistant.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Reliable and able to follow protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and document patient status.
• Provide technical support to the primary emergency veterinarian and assist DVMs/LVTs.
• Perform diagnostic and nursing care, including anesthesia monitoring.
• Obtain samples and prepare for diagnostic testing; assist with radiographs.
