Banfield is hiring a veterinary paraprofessional to support veterinarians and technicians in delivering high-quality pet care. You will perform procedures not needing a veterinarian, educate clients on wellness plans, obtain patient histories, and help maintain medical charts and hospital areas.

Qualifications

• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times.
• Perform or prepare procedures not requiring veterinarian assistance.
• Complete preparatory work for other procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Monitor hospitalized or surgical pets as allowed by state acts.
• Educate clients about preventive care and hospital services.
• Obtain relevant information and maintain complete medical charts.
• Ensure safety with restraining techniques and maintain clean, sterile areas.
• Assist with surgery as applicable and mentor paraprofessionals.
