Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and veterinary technicians, ensuring the safety of pets, clients, and staff while maintaining high-quality care. You will educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, assist with procedures under supervision, help maintain patient flow, and uphold NAVTA guidelines.

Preferred NAVTA-approved program certificate or equivalent; a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate from NAVTA-approved program or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• NAVTA guidelines experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain flow of patients and assist veterinarians and technicians
• Communicate with veterinarians and vet techs
