Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program completion or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain flow of patients in the hospital.
• Communicate with veterinarians and vet technicians.
• Carry out procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Adhere to hospital standards for safety and cleanliness in treatment areas and labs.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Mentor other hospital team members.
