Osceola Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in patient care, monitor hospitalized pets, and assist with surgeries. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, taking samples, and educating clients on care and procedures.

Qualificações

• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Ability to work on weekends as required.
• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; with assistance over 25 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatment.
• Monitor hospitalized pets and assist with surgeries.
• Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vitals during procedures.
• Take and process samples; perform in-house lab work.
• Take and develop radiographs following safety procedures.
• Educate clients regarding veterinary care and procedures.
• Maintain inventory and restock supplies.
• Demonstrate warmth, courtesy and professionalism with clients.
