Qualifications

• 1+ years veterinary assistant experience preferred.
• Compassionate, calm, team player, multi-tasker and strong communicator.
• Must be able to properly restrain pets.
• Proficiency in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing laboratory tests and radiographs; anesthesia monitoring is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Restrain, triage incoming patients, collect and analyze lab samples; provide nursing care for medical or hospitalized cases.
• Communicate treatment plans clearly to clients.
• Assist in surgical preparation and anesthesia management.
