Uptown Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians, ensuring the safety and comfort of pets and clients while delivering top-quality veterinary care. You will assist with examinations, treatment preparation, and patient management in a busy Gig Harbor setting.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms and equipment, handling samples for diagnostics, administering medications under supervision, and communicating care instructions to clients to support

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a non-licensed technician in a veterinary practice.

• Clean, disinfect, and prepare exam rooms, medical equipment, and surgery areas between each appointment.

• Administer injections and medications under the Veterinarian's direction.
