Job Description Summary

The Veterinary Assistant supports and assists veterinarians and veterinary technicians, ensuring the safety of pets, clients, and staff, and maintaining the quality of veterinary care.

Preferred Education/Licenses

Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent education, training, and experience. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Ability to perform all required skills of NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant programs to aid practice efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain the flow of patients
