VCA Aledo Animal Hospital in Willow Park, TX is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join their team. As part of a well-established practice, you will provide supportive care to pets and assist the Veterinary Staff in ensuring an excellent experience for pet owners.

VCA Aledo Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

At VCA Aledo Animal Hospital, we’re more than just a veterinary clinic — we’re a team of dedicated professionals who love what we do and who we do it with. As a well-established, four‑doctor small animal practice, we take pride in offering high‑quality medicine with a personal touch.

Location: Willow Park, TX

Full‑time, 30-40hrs per week

Pay: $17.00-20.00/hr.

As a member of the VCA team, you will support the Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low‑stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

• Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
• Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
• Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
• Maintaining medical records.
• Assisting our wonderful Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.
