Minimum qualifications and skill set:
3 years of experience in a veterinary assistant Required
Proficiency in the following skills:
Experience collecting patient histories and obtaining patient weights and vital signs preferred
Ability to maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and restrain patients safely throughout the workday
Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service

Our staff is comprised of multiple doctors and many of our team members have been with us for years (seriously—one of our technicians has been here since 1986!) We primarily treat dogs and cats, though sometimes small animals like rabbits and the occasional potbelly pig will come through our doors. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
