VCA Metzger Animal Hospital in State College, PA, seeks an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant for our Emergency Medical Team. Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessment.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Assist in surgical preparation and post-operative care.
• Provide dentistry, radiology, and laboratory support.
• Administer medications and manage patient recovery.
• Assist with venipuncture and catheter placement.

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our Emergency Medical Team!

Location: 1044 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801

Compensation: the pay range for this position is $17.50-$21 based on experience, education and credentials

VCA Metzger is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join the team in State College PA! We are a state of the art facility equipped with advance diagnostic tools which allows us to provide support to both routine and critical patient needs. We have 24-hour care with an emergency doctor and technicians on site at ALL times. In addition to our Feline Friendly and AAHA accreditations, VCA Metzger Animal Hospital is a Level III VECCS (Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society) Certified Veterinary Emergency Hospital.
