VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant to join our growing Surgery care team full time. This 24-hour Emergency & Specialty hospital promotes growth and development for all employees and offers a collaborative, supportive environment.

Full-time, (3) 12s schedule on Mon Tue Wed with $20.00 - $33.00 per hour depending on experience and skill set.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinary technician or equivalent experience.
• Training and development opportunities for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient histories and perform physical exams.
• Medication refills and clear pet-parent communication.
• Proficient in medical calculations.
• Venipuncture and IV placement.

VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing Surgery care team full time!

Potential Schedule:

Full-time, (3) 12s Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Compensation:

$20.00 - $33.00 / hour dependent on experience, and skill set

ER / ICU Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities:
