Responsibilities

• Administer medications and vaccinations to animals.
• Provide nursing care including phlebotomy, radiology, and injection administration.
• Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals.
• Maintain medical records and filing systems.
• Assist in the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist in surgical patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery.
• Educate clients on proper animal care and nutrition.
