The purpose of this position involves providing excellent medical care to our Vetco Total Care hospital patients and phenomenal customer care to their owners. The Veterinary Assistant represents the mission and values to all clients. Our Veterinary Assistants set the tone for technical and customer support in the hospital and are responsible for fostering cohesion and motivation within the practice.
Work is performed under the supervision of veterinarians and the Veterinary Technician, with overall direction from the HOM/HLOD.
Primarily in the hospital, involving physical activity like bending, kneeling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for long periods. Significant client and pet contact.
