The Fix Machine is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our two-doctor small animal practice in Richland, WA. This full-time, in-person position features four-day workweeks with weekends off, and a salary range of $17.13–$18.50 per hour.

You will support examinations, dentistry, and general patient care while growing with a compassionate team. Previous veterinary or client-care experience is preferred, with a focus on accurate records, client education, and teamwork to deliver exceptional

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Support surgical and dental procedures, including patient preparation, monitoring, recovery, and instrument care.
• Obtain patient histories and accurately record vital signs.
• Perform patient assessments and communicate concerns to the medical team.
• Provide compassionate support and comfort to patients throughout their visits.
• Educate clients with compassion, clarity, and confidence.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care thoroughly.
• Keep treatment and examination areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Work closely with teammates to maintain an efficient hospital workflow.
