Animal Care of Oradell in Oradell, NJ is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our privately owned small animal practice. No weekends, Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment.

You’ll assist veterinarians and technicians, prepare exam rooms, monitor hospitalized patients, and help educate clients. We value compassionate teamwork, growth, and excellent patient care, with benefits including health coverage and paid time off.

Formación

• At least one year of veterinary hospital experience preferred, but training offered.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong teamwork and organizational abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Safely handling and restraining patients using compassionate techniques.
• Prepare examination rooms, treatment areas, and medical equipment.
• Monitor, feed, walk, and care for hospitalized patients.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment.
• Stock supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Support client education and reinforce home-care instructions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent patient care.

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping our medical team provide outstanding care to patients and exceptional service to their families.
