The Veterinary Assistant (Vet Assistant) is a key member of the hospital team at Banfield. The role supports and assists veterinarians and veterinary technicians, ensuring the safety of pets, clients, and associates and maintaining continuity of quality veterinary care.
Education/License: Certificate of completion from a NAVTA‑approved veterinary assistant program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Must be able to perform all required skills of a NAVTA‑approved veterinary assistant program at a level that aids the efficiency of the practice.
