GENERAL PURPOSE:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The role will involve assisting our veterinarians in both General Practice and Emergency Care settings. This is a dynamic position that requires flexibility, compassion, and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their owners
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of hospital and equipment
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and effectively

  • Willingness to learn and take direction from veterinarians and senior staff members
