Our hospital is seeking a Full‑Time Senior Veterinary Assistant to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast‑paced, multi‑doctor animal hospital.

Responsibilities

The Senior Veterinary Assistant assists veterinarians in the care of animals. Responsibilities include restraining animals during examinations, stock examination and surgery rooms with supplies, sterilize tools, maintain equipment, perform technical tasks such as venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia administration and monitoring, dental prophylaxis, radiography, administering medications, performing laboratory analysis, and client education. The assistant also communicates with clients and updates patient files.

  • Energetic, people‑and‑pet person with an excellent work ethic and solid social and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate and caring.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting.
  • Regular on‑site presence is required to support patient care, respond to time‑sensitive needs, collaborate with clinical teams, and maintain safety.
