Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant preferred (on-the-job training available for the right candidate).
• Comfortable assisting with animal handling, restraint, and basic patient care.
• Willingness to learn clinical skills and support technicians and doctors.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work rotating Saturdays.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient restraint, exams, treatments, and basic procedures.
• Help prepare rooms, equipment, and patients for appointments and surgery.
• Support technicians and DVMs during procedures and daily workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, exam rooms, and equipment.
• Assist with client communication, patient check-ins, and discharge support.
